“Finally, Still Life” is a manifestation of my desire for permanency in the form of a home. Between childhood and college, much of my time has been spent boxing up my belongings and moving my things from one place to another in a state of limbo, uncertainty, and change. I find myself comforted when dreaming about a place of my own - here, all of my favorite things are in a box, but they’re set up in what I hope to be a permanent home in the future, wherever it may actually be.

“Finally, Still Life” is composed of card stock, plastic, yarn, wire, linen, and acrylic paint in a 5”x5.5”x4” cardboard box.
