“Software” is a physical examination of digital connectedness. The items included are all technology from my childhood growing up in the 2000’s, and are created by pulling individual pieces of yarn through the grid form to emulate a plush carpet texture. The softness of these post-1990’s/pre-2010’s era technologies comes in both a literal and nostalgic form, as thinking about these defining features of my childhood remind me of times where a single piece of technology could not perform all of the functions of the objects shown here.

“Software” is composed of natural and synthetic yarns on a 3D plastic canvas grid form.
