“Untitled (Doughglobe)” explores the idea of home as both a memory and a moment in time. Reminiscent of my childhood collection of snow globes, here a kitchen taking the form of an amalgamation of the many I was familiar with as a child serves as my home, quiet and isolated.
“Untitled (Doughglobe)” is composed of papier-mâché, acrylic paint, clay, sponge, and wire in a 5x4x5” plastic globe.
